A Post-doctoral research fellow position in the School of Engineering at the University of Plymouth

The School of Engineering at the University of Plymouth, UK, is offering a post-doctoral position. We are seeking a research fellow for the Marine-i project and you will join the COAST Engineering Research Group.  This new project will deliver business led innovation in marine technology within Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly's marine technology smart specialism theme.  In collaboration with project partners you will undertaking research for Cornwall based SME's along with beneficiaries of the Marine-i Global Challenges Fund (GCF). 

You will have a PhD in marine renewable energy (wave tank testing).  The role requires specialist knowledge of physical modelling in a relevant area, advanced knowledge of research methods, research design and significant experience of undertaking applied qualitative and quantitative research projects.

This is a full-time post working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 31 December 2019.
