PRIMaRE Summer School

PRIMaRE is organising an annual Summer School, framed as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) high level programme. The PRIMaRE Summer School aims to:

  • provide the mechanism for exchange of knowledge between the research, academia, the novel MRE industry and wider sector;
  • identify knowledge gaps and training needs; and
  • cover the sector training needs to secure its development.

Upcoming PRIMaRE Summer Schools

A Summer School entitled "Experimental testing to quantify the performance of tidal turbines" will be hosted by the University of Southampton and Cardiff University from the 13th-17th September 2021.


Previous PRIMaRE Summer Schools

A Summer School entitled "Designing Marine Renewable Energy Devices" took place at the University of Bristol and the University of Bath from the 9th-13th September 2019.

A joint PRIMaRE and UK&CHN Summer School on "Hydrodynamic Modelling and Well-being in Engineering", organised between PRIMaRE and the UK-China ORE Research and Innovation Partnership Fund, will take place at the University of Plymouth (COAST Lab) and the University of Exeter (Penryn Campus) on September 2018.
